Private Pilot Training
Private pilot training is designed for individuals seeking to earn their first pilot certificate and gain the freedom to fly for personal and recreational purposes. Instruction focuses on building strong foundational skills, aeronautical decision-making, and safe aircraft operation in accordance with FAA standards.
Training includes both ground and flight instruction covering aircraft systems, flight maneuvers, navigation, airspace, weather, and regulations. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace and learning style, with an emphasis on confidence, safety, and real-world proficiency—not just passing a checkride.
3. Commercial Training
Commercial pilot training prepares pilots to fly to a higher standard of precision, professionalism, and consistency. This training is intended for pilots pursuing advanced ratings or professional aviation opportunities.
Instruction emphasizes advanced aircraft control, complex maneuvers, performance planning, risk management, and polish in all phases of flight. Whether completing initial commercial requirements or refining skills ahead of a checkride, training is structured to meet FAA commercial standards while developing the discipline and judgment expected of professional pilots.
2. Flight Review/Proficiency Work
Flight reviews and proficiency training are offered for certificated pilots seeking to maintain currency, sharpen skills, or regain confidence after time away from flying. These sessions are tailored to each pilot’s experience level, aircraft type, and personal goals.
Training may include a comprehensive flight review, targeted maneuver practice, emergency procedures, airspace refreshers, or scenario-based decision-making. The goal is not just regulatory compliance, but meaningful improvement in safety, judgment, and overall flight proficiency.
Instruction rate is $40/hr not including aircraft rental or fuel.
